How might we empower members to live 100 healthy years?
Digestible Information
Figuring out what works or doesn't work for each individual body can be time consuming, expensive and incredibly overwhelming.
Rapid Discoveries
New findings on genetics, the biome, diseases, how our bodies relate to food and more is being discovered at a rapid pace. That's a lot of information to sift through.
Behavior Change
Changing human behavior is often the biggest hurdle, but when people understand the why and see improvement, it can be easier to make a change.

Siberia 2022
In 2022, the design firm, Siberia, created the initial version of the Function Health app. I joined in 2023, initiating UXR with friends and family based on this design. With rapid iteration and building an incredible small but mighty team, we began a redesign focused on providing clarity, removing friction and delighting the user. Pushing this redesign with the product launch only a few months away required a strong partnership with the executive and cross-functional teams.

Post UXR 2023
Initial feedback indicated that the app needed a brighter, more pleasant aesthetic and clearer presentation of lab results. We categorized lab tests by body systems, redesigned the result graphs, and eliminated distracting features. This first build laid the foundation for the backend system of the Function Health app.

User Growth
With a single social post by Dr. Mark Hyman, and passionate beta customers, our waitlist quickly grew to over 40,000 members. Our biggest challenge was designing and building features fast enough to onboard the thousands of waiting members each month.
